An event benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central California

Speed Channel's the New "American Thunder" is ready to Rumble!! Host Colby Donaldson and his crew are ridin their way to Clovis to start filming footage for an upcoming show about the largest motorcycle run in the Central Valley.

Rumble to the Summit is one of the most popular runs in California as cruisers depart from the Clovis Rodeo grounds and wind up scenic Highway 168 through Shaver Lake, over Tamarack Ridge at the 7,000’ elevation and down into the beautiful Huntington Lake basin at Sierra Summit Ski Area. Save the date, as this will be another beautiful and exciting day in the High Sierras.

THIS YEAR, WE HAVE SOME EXCITING CHANGES. Come and support Make-A-Wish while also competing for your chance to win one of the thirteen cash prizes.

Rumble to the Summit kicks off on Friday night, June 12th at 6:00 p.m. with a pre-registration party at Clovis Rodeo grounds. The evening’s festivities will be held in the park-like setting on the lawn at the Rodeo Grounds and will be open to the public. There will be reserved parking for all bikes on the asphalt near the entrance. There will be live music provided by one of the hottest upcoming bands, fire dancers, a barbecue, beer garden, vendor booths, and a bike show.

On Saturday morning, participants will assemble back at the Rodeo grounds between the hours of 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. for breakfast. After breakfast, participants may begin a leisurely ride towards the Summit with the opportunity to stop at some or all checkpoints, enjoying the venue and collecting a coupon for the cash prize giveaway. Gates at the Summit will open at noon. Once at the Summit, participants will turn in their coupons and receive the equivalent number of raffle tickets for their chances in the cash prize raffle.

While at the Summit, participants will enjoy more festivities: Live Music by Livin’ in the USA, a barbecue lunch by world champions QN4U, games, and vendors. The drawing for the custom chopper by Ron Simms will be held at 4 p.m. – winner need not be present to win.

The drawings for $5,000, $3,000, $1,000 and ten $100 prizes will begin at approximately 4:15 p.m. – winners MUST BE present to win.
